Come and learn to make felt !

I teach a variety of classes. One on one workshops are available in my studio here in Somerset Uk. I am also available for private small workshops if it is something you and a group of friends would enjoy or corporate groups for work days. Please do get in touch and email me.

NUNO FELT WRIST WARMER WORKSHOP

Come and learn to make Nuno felt and make your own pair of merino wool wrist warmers. Learn to use a resist to make 3d form using the wet felting technique. Beginners welcome. This a great workshop to do as a precursor to doing one of my waistcoat workshops.

SCULPTURAL FELT WAISTCOAT WORKSHOP

A sliding scale of £225 – £195 depending on your income.

Come and make your own made-to-measure seamless waistcoat. Learn the technique of Nuno felting – shrinking wool onto fabric using the wet felting technique. You will learn how to make a resist, calculate measurements and wet felt a seamless 3d garment.

Some wet felting experience is needed. This is a large piece to felt, so strong arms too!

All materials are provided and hot drinks and biscuits.

This is NON RESIDENTIAL – there are plenty of great places to stay in Glastonbury and surrounding villages , Glastonbury has lots of interesting places to visit too.
